If you haven’t been on Becoming A Pro Blogger before or are new to the internet marketing world then you should be aware of what an EMD is. An EMD stands for Exact Match Domain. What this means is that when you find that next new HOT Keyword to build a website around you want to check and see if that exact keyword(s) are available as a domain name.
Why Do You Want Exact Match Domain Names
Why do you want to use exact match domain names? Because EMDs are usually a lot easier to rank in the top results of the search engines compared to a general domain name. An example of this is lets say EfficientSolarLights.com vs SolarLights.com Granted EfficientSolarLights.com can still rank #1 for Solar Lights, but it is going to usually take a lot longer to rank for that keyword than if you just used SolarLights.com as your domain. So for that reason most internet marketers try and always get and EMD for their websites when they are available.
How To Find Exact Match Domain Names The Easy Way
Normally when someone is looking for an exact match domain name or just searching for a domain name in general they will go to their local service provider and star typing in names one at a time until they find one that is available that they like. This is how I used to do it, and boy was it a big waste of time.
Now I do things a little faster and whole heck of a lot better (one of the things I hope you learn from this website is how to use your time wisely and not waste it on things that do not make you money). The first thing I do is gather up a list of keywords that I am going to target with my new website. I do this by using the Keyword Tool Dominator and then those keywords through TKA’s Niche Refinery program to find the more profitable keywords.
At this point I used to take these keywords and enter them one by one into my domain register’s website to see if any of them were available, but that was the old way of doing things. Now I just head on over to Goddady.com and check with their Bulk Domain Name Registration Tool. This tool will allow you to check up to 500 keywords at a time with your choice of end extensions like .com, .net, etc. So in as little as a minute or two Godaddy.com and on their front page you will see a tab below the header that reads Domains . Hover your cursor over this tab and a drop down menu will appear. In this drop down menu under Register or Transfer you will see listed in the #3 position the link to the Bulk Domain Registration page. Then all you have to do is clear out the input box and then copy and paste your list of up to 500 keywords into the box. Check what extensions that you want them to check for, and hit GO!
As you can see it quite easy to process a large list of several hundred or thousand keywords without much time or effort. So don’t give up on finding that perfect exact match domain name for your next website or blog, do what I do and learn how to find exact match domain names the easy way!
